Who is it for ?

Orthodontic treatment is possible at any age "from 7 till 77 years old"

We all have two sets of teeth:

20 milk or primary teeth

and then 32 permanent or adult teeth

Between the two full sets there is a period of mixed dentition, as children shed their milk teeth and the permanent teeth grow in.

The first orthodontic consultation for children should be when they are 7 or 8,

for initial advice and pre-screening.

If it is too early for any treatment, the child will be monitored and reviewed periodically until it is an appropriate time to commence treatment.

Adult orthodontics, which is becoming more and more popular due to aesthetic options, uses only the possibility of remodelling the alveolar bone as previously described.
